Augustana Students' Association is proud to host Pride Week, a series of events aimed at promoting diversity and inclusivity. Our events are informative, fun, and supportive and are open to everyone. Join us in celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and learn from inspiring speakers, attend workshops, and enjoy social events.

Pride Movie Night - Flee

Flee tells the story of Amin Nawabi as he grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for 20 years, one that threatens to derail the life he has built for himself and his soon to be husband. Recounted mostly through animation to director Jonas Poher Rasmussen, he tells for the first time the story of his extraordinary journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan.

So You Think You Can Drag (SYTYCD)

The Bailey Theatre - 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Augustana’s annual drag competition! This night is one of the most highly anticipated events of Pride Week where we offer a platform for students and community members to showcase their talent and creativity in a supportive and inclusive environment. Included in the evening are three professionals who are there to show the amateurs how it's done!

 

The competition is open to everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or experience level and the top three amateur performers win cash prizes! If you want to be a part of the performance, register to compete using this link.

Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to be a part of Augustana's drag show tradition! If you want to attend the event, door tickets can be purchased at the Bailey Theatre starting at 6:00 pm.
