ASA Food Bank
This program provides free supplementary non-perishable food hampers to Augustana students in need.
Overview
Started in 2021, this program was created to help offset the stresses caused by food insecurity. These hampers are meant to replace 25% to 35% of monthly food costs for students so their money can be spent on other bills (rent, tuition, etc.).
Currently, food hampers are distributed once a month, and applications are open to all current Augustana Students. After requesting a Food Hamper, successful applicants will receive an email to schedule a pick up appointment.
Applicants are asked to:

Come at their chosen appointment time

Bring bags for transporting items

Bring OneCards for proof of student status
Distribution
The request form will open approximately 2 weeks before each distribution period and close the Sunday before each distribution period. The 2024-25 Distribution periods are listed below.
